I recently completed a 9 week beginners throwing course and it was the BEST thing I could’ve done for myself!
Mel and Karen are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on all things clay. They really go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The processes for the studio are well thought through and super easy to get the hang of!
I was lucky enough to have Maiah as my tutor and my goodness what an amazing person to learn from!
They have everything you need onsite which is a massive bonus! These wahine toa have thought of everything 😍

Clay Studio became my second home, my knowledge and ability with the art form has myself and whanau shocked at how well some of my pieces came together!! It has done wonders for my mental health, the entire process is so soothing ✨

What I found particularly special was the community that the studio is creating, it is a wonderful place to be in with all students and members chatting and sharing tips and tricks where they can ❤️ There aren’t many spaces like this and it truely is something special!

I cannot wait to become a member this year!!! I don’t think I’ll ever stop now that I’ve started!
