Thurs Night 4 Week Handbuilding Course

Service Description

Join pottery artist Kevin Martin in this 4 week course where you'll learn handbuilding and glazing techniques while creating your own two turtles and sgraffito plate! Weeks 1 and 2 we will make two turtles using a plaster push mold which you will get to keep. Week 3 we will hand build our plates and underglaze them, ready for sgraffito in the 4th week. We will also oxide our turtles and glaze their shells. From complete beginner to intermediate level, ages 14 and over. 4 classes on Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, May 1st to May 22nd. All clay, tools, glaze and firing included.
